Calliope State High School operates under a negotiated catchment area. A school's local catchment area is the defined geographical area from which the school is to have its core intake of students.

Calliope State High School opened in 2020, with Year 7 and 8. Each year following CSHS will progressively add a cohort and 2024 will see our first Year 12 students graduate.
