Calliope State High School is a 100% Bring Your Own Device School.
This means every student is required to purchase their own laptop and bring it to school each day. Our teachers deliver digital curriculum in every classroom and students work one on one with their own laptops whilst being explicitly taught lessons involving traditional and digital methodologies.
Laptops do not replace explicit teaching of concepts in the curriculum but will be used to deliver enhanced learning experiences, consolidate topics and provide opportunities for expressing what students know in engaging and creative ways.
